oneday in 2016, Eslam Bergas and his co-founder Ahmed Khaled got the idea for Pigeon Parcel in a casual meeting where they were meeting for Launch and both talked about a shipping situation that happened with Eslam when he was abroad. He needed urgent documents to get from back home in as short time as possible, that he called Ahmed on that trip to get him the parcel with anyone coming in the airport it was a great hassle and risk, but afterwards it ignited the idea in both friends head.
They decided to play it different and make this service convenient, affordable, fast and secure.
That urged them both to study the idea thoroughly of having a shared economy platform functioning as a courier. After research in the middle-east market, they found out how needed is this platform and at that time none used to do the same idea. And when some platforms started they were utterly expensive and done in different business models.
Pigeon Parcel will help shoppers have a one stop shop for all over the world online and offline stores and get their parcels on time and at low fees.
For shippers P.P. will gurantee safety of the parcel through the insurance partner and will consider all necessary measures to verify the traveler identity and to keep tracking of the parcel throughout the trip. Aside from this P.P offer much less price than other couriers along with a fast service.
